For our site in ROMAINVILLE, France we are looking for a 

Principal Translational Research Technician  (Permanent contract)



You will join a team that is dedicated to Translational Science to support research projects in immuno-inflammation. You will be involved in the identification and validation (both technical and biological) of biomarkers on blood and diverse tissues from mouse and human.

In this context, you will participate in the validation of our therapeutic targets in in vivo and ex vivo disease models of immune-inflammatory diseases such as arthritis, psoriasis, Crohn disease or lupus, the characterization of the activity of our proprietary compounds from research to development, the development of biomarker for clinical development. All this is done in a team-oriented, result-driven, international research environment.


Your role


Your main responsibilities will be the analysis of biological material treated, ex vivo or in vivo, with reference and internal proprietary compounds to define their mode of action, their activity on certain biological pathways, functions.

  • In this context, you propose, develop, optimize and validate various protocols, methods necessary for your experiments according to the standards. The technical approaches apply to different types of biological material such as cells, whole blood, biological fluids, tissue explants and tissue biopsies.
  • You provide efficient troubleshooting on lab protocols and equipment.
  • You identify the most relevant technical approaches and analytical methods for your studies.
  • You work independently in a collaborative team-oriented setting.
  • You interpret and provide a critical and constructive analysis of the experimental results in their biological and project context.
  • You ensure good documentation of your work in lab notebooks
  • You participate and /or present in internal meetings.




Who are you?


  • You have a Bachelor degree in Life Sciences with more than 5 years of experience in laboratory work, ideally in pharmaceutical industry.
  • You have good technical knowledge in cell and molecular biology associated with knowledge in pharmacology, physiology and immunology. You know and have worked with a wide range of technologies (RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, Western Blot, ELISA, Luminex, MSD).
  • You are highly motivated, proactive, rigorous and work with precision. You have the ability to provide accurate work and reports.
  • You show flexibility and rapid adaptation to new goals.
  • You have good organizational/multitasking skills, as well as interpersonal skills and communication skills. You work effectively in a team environment while showing independence.
  • The language of professional communication is English that you master both in writing and in verbal.
