We are looking for a Scientist in vitro biology Fibrosis - Romainville,FR

 

Scope of the job

As a member of a research team, you will contribute to the scientific input of the project. You will provide technical and scientific expertise to the project team. You will design, organize and realize cellular assays and analyzes data in accordance with the project requirements and timelines. In this context, you will participate in the validation of our therapeutic targets, the pharmacological characterization and the selection of our proprietary compounds for further development.

Your  accountabilities:

  • Design and execute experiments in accordance with the project requirement. Involved in the setup, optimization and execution of cellular assays using cell lines and primary cells
  • Analyzes data from the assay; suggests ideas or innovation to solve a problem in the area of cell biology and pharmacology
  • Work independently, plan, perform, analyze and interpret experiments
  • Propose or implement new scientific or technological methods,
  • Actively follow the recent literature on new theories, methods and project making sure that a broad knowledge of fibrosis in vitro pharmacology is present
  • Present complex scientific data in a clear, comprehensive manner
  • Mentor or supervise technician(s), apprentice(s) or student(s).

 

Job requirements

Who are you?

  • PhD in Life Sciences with 3 years of experience ideally in pharmaceutical industry
  • Profound knowledge in the fields of molecular and cellular biology including most common biological pathways, as well as in the field of pharmacology
  • Implement cellular assays for analysis of biological function and pharmacological evaluation of new chemical entities
  • Experienced in a wide range of technologies (primary cell culture, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, JESS, multiplex assays, cell transfection)
  • As a team player, you promote an open and supportive climate and a collaborative organization
  • Your good presentation skills (fluent in English, both in writing and verbally) guarantee a proper communication during meetings or amongst team
