For our site in Mechelen, Belgium we are looking for a Manager Reporting & Consolidation

Scope of the job

As Manager Reporting & Consolidation you will provide support to the Reporting Director and the team in ensuring the Group’s consolidation, IFRS compliance in accounting treatment, financial statements and disclosure notes for the Group. You will play a key role in providing support and advice to local affiliates and other internal stakeholders, and will assist in various corporate projects.

Your role

  • Key role in ensuring IFRS compliance
  • Key role in ensuring SOx controls of the Consolidation and Reporting function.
  • Providing assistance in quarterly and yearly consolidation process and preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosure notes (also including annual report on form 20-F)
  • iXRBL tagging of annual report
  • Providing support and advise to local affiliates
  • Providing assistance in setting up a new consolidation tool
  • Providing assistance in various corporate projects
  • Performing miscellaneous ad hoc financial analyses

Job requirements

Who you are?

  • Master’s degree in Finance with a minimum experience of 7-8 years in audit or combined with a first experience in reporting and consolidation in an international environment (within the life science sector is a plus)
  • Very good working knowledge of IFRS reporting
  • Experience with SOx, PCAOB and SEC-filing requirements for foreign private issuers is a plus
  • Experience in consolidation in an international and commercial environment is a strong plus
  • Your strong organization skills, high degree of flexibility, assertiveness and a critical mindset are key for success. In addition you are experienced in data gathering, problem solving and you have strong analytical skills.
  • You are a team player and you have excellent command of spoken and written English and Dutch and/or French
