For our site in Mechelen, Belgium we are looking for an Investor Relations Reporting Associate 


Scope of the job

Would you like to be part of a key strategic department with a broad variety of responsibilities?

Our Investor Relations team is supporting Galapagos in its fast-paced development through effective information sharing with its investors, analysts and stakeholders.

Your role:

As IR Reporting Associate you'll be in charge of anchoring the back office and arming the front office effectively. We are looking for someone who can provide high quality analysis and advice to our IR team. This position requires frequent cross-divisional contacts (IR team, R&D project teams, Legal, Finance, ExCom).


  • You will drive and prepare management reporting on IR activities
  • You will be the project manager for all financial reporting
  • You will prepare all IR inputs to financial reporting including driving the CSR report
  • You will monitor sell-side reports and consensus platform
  • You will manage Q&A bible, check facts for IR and act as key responsible for IR parts in transaction due diligence
  • You will prepare presentations as per management direction or on own initiative
  • You will undertake ad-hoc projects as needed for IR management
  • You will manage IR section of corporate website, internal website

Job requirements


Who are you?

  • Master (Finance, Economy, etc.) or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience in banking/biotech/pharma/IR agency or consulting
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English writing is mandatory
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrable analytical and procedural thinking skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Affinity for science and previous experience in financial markets is a plus
  • Flexible working hours
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
