We are looking for an International Marketing Manager (Associate Director) to join our Marketing team, supporting our growing Inflammation portfolio.

This position can be based in any of our European locations. 


Scope of the job

The International Marketing Manager Inflammation will be an integral part of the Gastro inflammation brand team reporting to the Marketing Head and will be responsible for supporting many aspects of the filgotinib launch plan internationally with key focus on commercial content development and country deployment for the upcoming Chron's Disease (CD) indication.


Your role

The role includes coordination and delivery of key marketing tactics to support launch of our first product in Chron's Disease (CD).

The main deliverables include but are not limited to content creation and deployment in the European markets, with a process of strong Co-creation with country marketing teams.

As the filgotinib launch moves forward this role will grow in complexity and breadth as more elements of the commercial plan are conceptualised and delivered.

The International Brand Associate Director Inflammation will interact regularly and closely partner with the other members of the wider international Commercial team and coordinate with other functions including Omnichannel, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing Insights, Compliance, Communications, to help drive initiatives forward and ensure alignment across the organization.

The role will require day to day collaboration and connection with external agencies, managing and tracking budgets and purchase orders and MSAs / CDAs as required.

The role will make a continuous effort to ensure compliance with internal and external marketing/pharmaceutical regulations player in tasks and projects.

Job requirements

Who are you?

You have a degree in science or business related disciplines. With 5-10 yrs work experience in pharmaceutical industry as brand marketer and experience with content plan creation and deployment with a strong omnichannel perspective. Ability to build and lead high-performing cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, providing an inclusive environment and supporting a clear sense of direction and focus, throughout international team and EU7 markets. Inflammation / Gastro / Chron's Disease are preferred therapeutic areas.

Demonstrated track record in specific fields of commercial management expertise, eg. creation of strategic and operating plans launches of indications or brands, and strong matrix management.

Broad knowledge & experience of European pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment.

Proven ability to perform effectively in a complex, changing environment, and the professional maturity to deal with ambiguity.


Biotech or start up experience adds some points! And if you have worked in co-partnership(s) before that would great! You are a digital native with experience in multi-channel initiatives. You are an excellent and fluent communicator in English and you easily connect with others. It goes without saying that you are a team player. Resilient, creative, self-driven, with a proactive approach and positive mindset. You are a make-it-happener with excellent project management and planning skills.
