For our site in Mechelen, Belgium we are looking for an International Fleet and Mobility Manager – Mechelen,BE

 

Scope of the job

The fleet manager plays an important role in co-designing the mobility philosophy with the Head of Total reward, and implementing it across all locations of Galapagos in Europe. The fleet manager is overseeing our company’s mobility policies (car, bike, etc.) and ensuring our employees get a great customer experience.

 

Your role:

  • Collaborate with the Reward Projects team on developing new mobility approaches in line with local legislation and with new trends in the market
  • Develop car and other mobility policies for all countries
  • Follow up changes in local legislation and adapt policies and processes accordingly to ensure our approach stays future proof
  • Partner with our Procurement and Legal departments to select external providers in Europe and build an effective partnership over time.
  • Deploy a strong communication and implementation plan together with HR Employee services
  • Keep track of budgets and benchmarks

Job requirements


Who you are?

  • Preferably a Master degree with 5-6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively and timely manage a diverse workload
  • Professional communication skills in Dutch and English, both in writing and verbally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expertise and interest in the social and fiscal law related to mobility & fleet management across Europe
  • Good analytical and coordinating abilities
