We are looking for a  Global People Analytics Specialist

Scope of the job

For the expansion of our HRIS team, we are looking for a Global People Analytics Specialist to analyse and articulate valuable insights on HR performance and employee satisfaction for our internationally growing organisation.

Your role

To generate insights that allow for appropriate business actions around budgeting, workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, learning, performance management, compensation management, retention, etc. With this role we offer our internal clients an inquisitive, tech-savvy and analytical HR support. We are looking for a strong relationship builder, interested in developing an in depth understanding of Galapagos’ HR challenges and opportunities and creative in converting objective data in solutions that make it happen!

More in detail:

  • Act as ambassador for functionalities in SuccessFactors and in general as HR point-of-contact for reporting questions
  • Define needs and opportunities for HR insights in close collaboration with the HR team and Galapagos’ managers and function heads
  • Monitor diverse system user interfaces and partner with external suppliers
  • Configure dashboards and HRIS reports for the HR team and other departments
  • Collaborate in the improvement and maintenance of smooth HR business processes
  • Analyse HR data to determine trends and make recommendations around strategies
  • Translate analytical insights and communicate to internal clients using a variety of formats from regular static reports to reactive visualizations and presentations
  • Collaborate closely with members of the HR and Finance teams on topics related to payroll, personnel budgets, business continuity, GDPR…
  • Assist with compliance, internal audits & inspections
  • Shape and lead investigative analytics projects and build analytical capabilities across the HR team
  • Be involved in strategic workforce planning
  • Contribute to design of feedback processes, such as employee pulse surveys, performance management, 360° tools…

Job requirements

Our ideal candidate is experienced in people analytics and has excellent communication and reporting skills. He/she feels comfortable to reach out to the business across all levels in the organisation, to fully capture HR needs and opportunities and to skilfully present concise and clear ideas. Of course, it is important to be familiar with HR processes, HR systems/tools and to have a background/experience in data science or a related discipline. Next to a well-organized project manager with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, we also welcome a natural curiosity for learning new concepts and solving complex requests. As Global People Analytics Specialist you report to the Head HRIS Payroll and Employee Services. Our working language is English, knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
