We are looking for a Finance Partner Shared Services - Mechelen,BE.


Scope of the function:

As the Finance Partner, you will partner with the COO and the VP's that are heading the Shared Services groups (Finance & Procurement, HR, ITS, Facilities, Legal etc.) to drive the business, provide financial leadership, counsel and support to the Shared Services department; providing financial oversight; enabling management to make necessary financial trade-offs and assisting project teams in the construction, review and refinement of project plans/budgets/forecasts.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance, insights and leadership to COO and Shared Services VP'ss
  • Support them to understand their financials and meet their budget commitment
  • Responsible for the financial controlling activities required to deliver an accurate and timely month-end close, and to produce monthly reports for all stakeholders in the Shared Services department
  • Partnering with functions and project managers (e.g. various Facility projects) throughout budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure proactive and effective coordination across functions & project teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and raises challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks in strategic projects.




Who are you?

  • Bachelor Degree and Masters in Finance with  minimum of 8 years professional finance experience
  • Extensive experience leading and driving transformational change
  • Experience leading in a matrixed organization
  • Fluent English/Good working knowledge of Dutch preferred.
  • Influence and negotiation skills
  • Building relationships and networking across the business
  • Demonstrate financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning, and decision making Understanding of systems and processes as they affect the financial results (SAP etc)
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
