European Brand Manager (Fibrosis)

We are looking for a European Brand Manager (Fibrosis) to join our Leiden / Mechelen based commercial team, supporting our growing Fibrosis portfolio.

Scope of the job

The International Brand Manager will be an integral part of the fibrosis team reporting to the VP, Head of Fibrosis Marketing and will be responsible for supporting many aspects of the GLPG1690 IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) launch plan in Europe.

Your role

The role includes coordination and delivery of key elements of the commercial launch plan, such as preparation of materials for meetings, congresses and as well as the creation of supporting marketing tactics relevant to the run up to launch of a global drug product.

As the GLPG 1690 launch moves forward this role will grow in complexity and breadth as more elements of the commercial launch plan are conceptualised and delivered.

The European Brand Manager will interact regularly with the other members of the wider commercial team and coordinate with other functions including legal, finance, medical affairs and compliance to help drive initiatives forward and ensure alignment across the organisation.

Key responsibilities also include :

  • Creation of materials and tactics
  • Day to day management of external agencies supporting the Fibrosis Franchise
  • Close collaboration with the Congress and Events team in the preparation of external events
  • Support the administration associated with the launch plan and operation of a commercial matrix team
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external marketing/pharmaceutical regulations and followed and documented
  • Managing budgets, purchase orders and MSAs / CDAs as required
  • Support in tracking the annual budget

Job requirements

Who are you?

You have a Degree in science or business related disciplines. With 3-5 yrs of national/EU experience in brand marketing in pharmaceutical industry. Biotech or start up experience adds some points!  You are a digital native with experience in multi-channel initiatives. You are an excellent and fluent communicator in English and you easily connect with others. It goes without saying that you are a team player ‘pur sang’. Resilient, creative, with a proactive approach and positive mindset.  You are a make-it-happener with excellent project management and planning skills.
