We are looking for a Brand Manager Inflammation for Belgium & Luxemburg !

Scope of the job

The Brand Manager Inflammation will be a key member of the Belux commercial team at Galapagos. He/She will contribute to the development of the marketing strategy, effectively implement and manage campaigns and tactics (incl omnichannel activities) for the launch of our first product and many more indications to come.

The Brand Manager will report to the Marketing Lead Belux and work in partnership with the commercial, market access and medical colleagues. Together you will ensure seamless launch execution in line with business strategy and goals in Belgium and Luxemburg.

Your role

Brand management

• Prepare GLPG for successful launch of our first product in Belux
• Demonstrate strong marketing functional competence
• Collaborate with the Sales and Commercial Operations to successfully implement and manage all go-to-market activities
• Pull through brand strategies and effectively implement & manage campaigns across multiple on & offline channels as appropriate for targeted customer segments
• Shape evolution of campaign operations as new and more channels are being introduced
• Ensure excellent communication to the commercial team
• Ensure all strategies and tactics comply with all internal/external regulations and standards
• Involve and interact with healthcare professionals to organize and implement activities and local projects
• Contribute to the development and implement annual brand plans through cross-functional collaboration and aligned with customer and market insights. Identify opportunities for business growth and competitive advantage.

Business Intelligence

• Monitor and analyse campaigns and tactics to continuously drive improvement
• Other: Build effective and productive internal relationships with GLPG in all disciplines; focus on shared services like Finance, Legal and Compliance

Who are you?

• University Degree (Science, Medical, Economics, Marketing).
• min. 2-3 years work experience in product/brand management in the pharmaceutical industry in Belux
• Experience in the Inflammation (Rheumatology / gastroenterology) therapeutic area market is an asset and preferred
• Experience using multiple channels of marketing mix & evidence of successful implementations through digital channels
• Good knowledge of local regulatory, medical and compliance processes.
• Experience with launching product(s) is an asset
• Experience in managing and working within budgets
• Team player, dedicated to achieving success while having fun along the way
• Innovator, willing to share, learn, take on responsibilities and develop yourself
• Proficiency in English and fluent in Dutch and / or French. If not fluent in both then at least very good understanding and reading of the second language.
