We are looking for a Biobank Technician - Romainville, FR

Your role

Sample management

  • Identify sample to be added to the Biobank, register sample into the biobank physical storage and virtually in the Biobank software system following all applicable internal processes.
  • Support coworkers to perform samples registration
  • Ensure samples full traceability for use and disposal according to internal processes

Quality management

  • Support and train users across all Galapagos sites on samples registration, Biobank software system use, and quality related to the biobank

Biomarker support

  • Interface for operational activities between the Biomarker group and biomarker laboratory vendors; Provides the day-to-day operational management of biomarker vendors to ensure delivery against contracted scope of work
  • Serves as the key operational contact with internal and external stakeholders, for sample management in pre-clinical studies
  • Manage the transfer of clinical sample to the Biobank according to our internal SOP

Job requirements

Who are you?

  • Bachelor (Bsc) or Master (Msc) with an understanding of biobank process with  at least 2+ years of sample management experience
  • Informatics skills (data management, computing, ontology)
  • English, French (preferred)
