We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant – General Services 

Scope of the job

You will support and assist the  purchasers in running day-to-day operations:

  • Operational purchasing on category – General Services
    • Common GnA spendings (consultancy, carrier, travel, agencies, mobile phones, etc.)
    • IS licences / software
    • Facilities for building and equipment
  • Handle all P2P tasks: administrative, logistic and invoicing

And also ensure compliance to procurement standards and alignment with procurement strategies.

In the role of purchasing assistant – these will be your main responsibilities:

  • Ensure integrity of the internal processing in compliance with SoX obligations and internal procedures
  • Manage order requisitions (OR) raised by internal customers
  • Handle OR and purchase orders (PO)
  • Supply chain documents management and process (RFQ-Delivery Notes-Claims-invoice issues)
  • Manage issues (invoicing and logistic)
  • Support Category buyers in negotiation with suppliers in order to generate savings
  • Back-up support for other purchasing assistants and buyers


Who are you?

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent by experience
  • A first experience in an international environment with experience in services purchase is required, experience in pharmaceutical environment or life science sector is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communicative strengths.
  • Hands-on attitude and result oriented
  • Good knowledge of P2P-process and supply chain documents
  • Professional English level is a must
