We are looking for a Project Management Leader, Development – Mechelen,BE/Leiden,NL/Basel/CH
You will take the Project Management Leader role for one or more drug development projects (projects can be part of the early or of the late development portfolio) and collaborate with the project leader(s) to develop and manage execution of project strategy. You will support the project leader(s) in operationalizing the project team and managing the relationship between the project team and functional teams.
As a Project Management Leader you facilitate and document project team meetings as well as interactions between the project team and internal/external partners. Act as the champion of the team culture; align project team members and other stakeholders creating team spirit enabling project delivery. Be ahead of potential issues or escalate as appropriate.
You create and manage the integrated project plan (IPP) and collaborate with the functional project planners and functional leads to ensure the functional project plans are created and continuously maintained and aligned with the IPP.
You take the lead in budget and forecast exercises for the assigned projects and build scenarios as required to evaluate strategic options and lead the project risk management exercises for assigned projects and ensure the documentation thereof.
You will provide administrative support to several development project teams in a pro-active way (mainly steered by the Project Manager). Furthermore, you will perform a back-up role for the Project Assistant colleagues.
