We are looking for a Payroll and Staff Administration Assistant – Romainville, FR


Scope of the role


You will strengthen the HR-team in providing excellent services to our growing organization and focus on delivering full operational (administrative) support in line with corporate HR policies and local regulations. 


Within this role you will:

  • maintain employee records in all HR-related databases
  • assure accurate French payroll in line with local laws and regulations
  • support the on-boarding of new staff
  • assure general HR-related administration
  • act as a primary contact for day-to-day questions of our Galapagos colleagues
  • administer job offers and labor contracts




You are a real team player and have


  • A Bachelor or Master degree with a first experience in HR administration and payroll.
  • Knowledge of AFAS and/or SuccessFactors is an important advantage
  • Working knowledge of the French employment, tax and social security legislation
  • A basic knowledge of HR processes
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage a diverse workload with high accuracy 
  • Professional communication skills in French and English, both in writing and verbally
  • A sound knowledge of Word and Excel
