We are looking for a Human Resources Manager!

 

 

Scope of the job

As HR Manager Leiden you partner with business leaders at all levels to help develop the organization and manage talent in line with Galapagos’ growth business strategy.

Through workforce insights and analytics you strengthen and empower the human capital at Galapagos in Leiden and you ensure the execution of all HR operations.

 

What is your role?

  • You are the spokesperson for all HR related matters in Leiden and align with head office and other Galapagos affiliates when necessary
  • You partner with leaders and teams in various HR domains to develop and implement people processes and plans
  • You work closely together with HR expert teams in Head office (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards….)
  • You identify leadership and capability development needs and take necessary actions, aligned with your HR colleagues in the other locations
  • You are the driver of all talent processes for the Dutch organization; performance management and promotions, talent development review, workforce forecast and you execute them
  • You make sure global strategy is translated in local practices and support your business in all HR related matters
  • You act as an example for your HR colleagues
  • You make sure all on boarding of new staff goes smoothly and actively support this process together with the HR team and the relevant hiring managers
  • You ensure that all HR operations and payroll runs smoothly
  • You perform all administrative duties and maintain HR database related to (inter)national employment regulations, recruitment, contracts, benefits, onboarding, and employee and welfare

 


Requirements

Who are you?

Our ideal candidate is a ‘do-er’ and ‘thinker’ with at least 10 years of experience in HR in preferably life science or biotech organization.

A team player who welcomes the opportunity to work across boundaries on various projects for the Galapagos group.
