We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for our Development department.

Scope of the job

The Administrative Assistant Development will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative activities in support of staff across the entire development division, located at our Leiden offices.

Furthermore, the Administrative Assistant Development will perform back-up tasks for the Executive Assistants in the Leiden site.


Your role: 

  • Ensure meetings (local as well as virtual/international) are scheduled, required changes managed, and meeting room facilities with/without catering (local or abroad) arranged accordingly; 
  • Ensure both inter-site as well as international travel requests for employees and visitors are processed and itineraries are made available; 
  • Collaborate with the local human resources department to coordinate logistics in support of candidate interviews; 
  • Perform a wide range of administrative and logistic tasks. 
  • In the absence of Executive Assistant colleagues perform various tasks.


Who are you?


Bachelor’s degree in management support, with multilingual qualifications or proven experience.



A minimum of 5 years in an administrative role in an international organisation, preferably in a healthcare environment.


General Skills

Strong organizational skills, ability to meet strict timelines, high level of accuracy and ability to adapt to frequent changing business.  Excellent multi-lingual communication skills (Dutch & English). Problem solving attitude, and strive to increase efficiency.  Can-do mentality!
